OSSC is a different commission from OSSSC, even though both use similar image sizes. Check the name on your advertisement before choosing a preset.

Photo and signature workflow

Use a recent colour photo on a plain light background, with the face centred and eyes open. For the signature, sign on white paper with dark ink and crop around the strokes. Check the downloaded dimensions and byte count before uploading.

A file prepared for OSSSC may not match an OSSC advertisement even when the pixel shapes look similar. Check the commission name, then the byte limit and format.

Do not reuse another commission file

If you applied to a different Odisha recruitment, do not upload that file by habit. Prepare a fresh image for the current OSSC notice.

Open the downloaded photo and signature at full size. Confirm the commission name, shape and byte count all match the current OSSC advertisement.

Keep the format unchanged

Do not rename a PNG or WebP file to .jpg. The portal reads the actual file type, not just the extension.
