Bitfinex Securities lists tokenized notes for Strategy, Metaplanet and other Bitcoin treasury firms
Bitfinex Securities, a tokenized investment platform linked to the Bitfinex crypto exchange, has listed five tokenized notes tied to companies that hold Bitcoin on their balance sheets. The notes track the economic performance of shares in Strategy, Metaplanet, Sweden’s H100 Group, France’s Capital B, and Strategy’s variable-rate perpetual preferred stock, STRC.
The products, issued through Luxembourg’s ORO (II) securitization fund, are backed by the underlying securities but do not grant direct ownership of the company shares. They are available for secondary trading on a regulated tokenized securities exchange, a first according to Bitfinex Securities.
Fractional trading and eligibility
Investors can gain fractional exposure starting from about $1. The notes trade against the US dollar, Tether’s USDT stablecoin—a digital currency pegged to the US dollar—and Bitcoin (BTC). However, access is restricted to eligible non-US investors.
Recent platform growth
This launch follows Bitfinex Securities’ recent $50 million tokenized capital raise for metals company Alkemya in August. The platform now reports that its listed assets exceed $500 million.
