Selection Process — BTSC Food Safety Officer (FSO) Recruitment 2026
The selection process consists of two stages:
- Written Competitive Exam (Computer Based Test — 100 Marks)
- Document Verification
The final merit list will be prepared based on the written exam scores. Selected candidates must complete training as per FSSAI guidelines before appointment.

- Each correct answer carries 1 mark.

Follow these steps to submit your application:
- Visit the official website www.btsc.bihar.gov.in and click on the application link for Advt. No. 29/2026.
- Register with your details. Make sure your date of birth exactly matches your Matriculation certificate.
- Enter your Aadhaar number as photo ID. If you do not have Aadhaar, use a PAN card, driving licence, or similar ID. Carry the same ID to the exam and counselling.
- Upload a recent photograph taken within the last 3 months. The photo must have a white background, eyes open, and no glasses.
- Upload all required certificates: Matriculation certificate, degree marksheets, caste / non-creamy layer / EWS certificate, domicile certificate, disability certificate, and ExSM certificate (if applicable). All certificates must be issued on or before 24 October 2026.
- Pay the Rs. 100/- application fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI.
