Who Can Apply for Chhattisgarh SET 2026?
You must meet these education requirements:
- You should have a Master’s degree in the subject you want to teach.
- General category candidates need at least 55% marks in their Master’s degree.
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, ST, and PwBD candidates need at least 50% marks.
- If you are in your final year of Master’s, you can also apply. But you must pass before the exam.
There is no age limit for this exam.
Selection Process — Chhattisgarh SET 2026
You will have to pass two papers:
- Paper-I: General paper on teaching and research aptitude. It has 50 questions, 100 marks.
- Paper-II: Subject-specific paper. It has 100 questions, 200 marks.
Both papers are objective type (multiple-choice questions). You must score minimum marks in both papers to qualify.
