Approximate total monthly emoluments: Rs. 69,480/- for Technical Assistant (Level-6) and Rs. 86,580/- for Technical Officer (Level-7) at Nagpur Hqrs.
Selection Process — CSIR NEERI Technical Assistant & Officer 2026
You will go through a screening or shortlisting stage first. Then comes a Trade Test, which is qualifying in nature. After that, a written exam with three papers is held.
- Paper-I (Mental Ability Test): 50 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes. No negative marking.
- Paper-II (General Awareness & English): General Awareness 25 questions (75 marks) and English Language 25 questions (75 marks). Duration is 30 minutes. 1 negative mark for each wrong answer.
- Paper-III (Concerned Subject Discipline): 100 questions, 300 marks, 90 minutes. 1 negative mark for each wrong answer.
Final merit is prepared only from your performance in Paper-II and Paper-III. Document verification happens after the written exam.

- Open Advertisement No. CSIR-NEERI/1/2026 and register with your name, valid email ID, and active mobile number.
- Fill in your educational qualifications, work experience, and address carefully.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 500/- through State Bank Collect if you belong to General/OBC/EWS. SC/ST/PwBD/Women/ESM candidates do not need to pay. Download the e-receipt after payment.
- Upload your scanned passport size photograph (JPEG, max 50 KB), signature (JPEG, max 50 KB), SB Collect payment receipt, and educational/experience/caste certificates (PDF, max 1 MB each).
- Submit the form before 15 October 2026 (05:00 PM) and print a copy for future reference.
