Selection Process — East Coast Railway RRC ECoR Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Your selection depends on your Class 10th marks. Here’s how it works:

Merit List: The Railway will prepare a merit list based on the percentage of marks you scored in your Class 10th exam.
No Written Exam or Interview: There is no written test or interview. Your academic performance is the only criterion.
Tie-Breaking Rules:
- If two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate gets preference.
- If age is also the same, the candidate who passed Class 10th earlier will be ranked higher.
Preference for Railway-Trained Apprentices: If you trained in a Railway establishment and hold an NAC certificate, you get preference for up to 20% of vacancies in direct recruitment to Railway Level-1 posts.
