Gemini to Offer Crypto Prediction Markets to Apex Brokerage Clients
Gemini and Apex Partner to Expand Crypto Prediction Markets
Crypto exchange Gemini and financial technology company Apex Fintech Solutions have signed a letter of intent to bring regulated crypto prediction markets to Apex’s brokerage clients. Under the agreement, Gemini’s prediction market subsidiary, Gemini Titan, will become the exclusive regulated venue for crypto event contracts distributed through Apex’s Futures Commission Merchant (FCM).
This means brokerages using Apex’s services will be able to offer their customers access to Gemini’s prediction markets for trading event contracts. Prediction markets allow people to bet on the outcome of future events, such as elections or sports results, using crypto or traditional money.
What the Partnership Includes
- Gemini Titan will be the exclusive regulated platform for crypto event contracts offered through Apex’s FCM.
- Brokerages using Apex’s services will use Gemini for executing and clearing these trades.
- The two companies may later expand the partnership to include other types of event contracts, such as sports, economics, and financial markets, on a non-exclusive basis.
- The deal is not yet finalized, and details are expected to be settled in the coming weeks.
Gemini’s Role in Prediction Markets
Gemini launched its prediction markets trading in December 2025 after its subsidiary, Gemini Titan, received a Designated Contract Market (DCM) license from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). This license allows Gemini to operate a regulated marketplace for event contracts. In April 2026, another Gemini subsidiary, Gemini Olympus, obtained a Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO) license from the CFTC, enabling it to handle the clearing and settlement of these contracts in-house.
According to Gemini’s second-quarter 2026 earnings presentation, over 225 million event contracts have been traded on Gemini Titan, with more than 27,000 traders participating. However, competitors like Polymarket and Kalshi still dominate the market with much higher trading volumes.

Why This Partnership Matters
This partnership could make it easier for more investors to access regulated crypto prediction markets. By integrating with Apex’s brokerage services, Gemini is expanding its reach to a broader range of customers. Prediction markets are seen as a way to bet on real-world events, and this collaboration could increase their adoption in the financial industry.
The Winklevoss twins, founders of Gemini, have previously stated that they believe prediction markets could become as large or larger than today’s capital markets. They describe prediction markets as a "truth machine" that helps people see future outcomes.
