Hong Kong names Nasdaq-listed Solana Company a strategic enterprise
Solana Company receives Hong Kong strategic enterprise status
Hong Kong has named Nasdaq-listed Solana Company (HSDT) a strategic enterprise under a government program designed to attract businesses that support the city's economic development.
Solana Company announced its selection on October 22, 2026. The Hong Kong government separately confirmed the addition of new companies to the program.
Key details of the designation
- Solana Company is part of the seventh batch of businesses selected by Hong Kong's Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES)
- It is the only blockchain infrastructure company onboarded by the office in 2026

Benefits of the status
According to a Solana Company spokesperson, the strategic enterprise designation provides several practical benefits. The company gets a single point of contact across all government agencies and regulators, which can simplify administrative processes. It also receives faster pathways for recruiting overseas talent and introductions to local institutional partners.
