Founders, including Biden, receive 300 million tokens (30% of supply) that are locked for six months and then vested monthly over the next 24 months. An additional 30% is linked to political, cultural and crypto predictions, with tokens burned if outcomes occur and redirected to charity if they do not.
Two airdrop rounds are planned. The first airdrop covers 10% of the supply, with 2% reserved for wallets that lost money on the TRUMP token and 8% for subscribers of Biden’s “Where’s Hunter” Substack newsletter. A second 10% airdrop may be issued at the foundation’s discretion.

Biden posted on X saying the token’s symbol “is now a symbol of resilience, redemption and recovery.” He also called the Trump family’s token a “grift” and warned buyers not to expect him or anyone else to increase LAPTOP’s value.
Digital investigator Stephen Findeisen (Coffeezilla) called the token a “shitcoin” and advised against buying it. An X user “scupytrooples” suggested there was still time to walk back the launch. Base founder Jesse Pollak confirmed the project contacted his team but Base chose not to assist with design or promotion.
