Justin Sun's TRON Inc. stock hovers just above Nasdaq's $1 minimum
TRON Inc. shares fall close to the $1 line
Shares of TRON Inc., the company tied to Justin Sun, traded as low as $1.05 on Oct. 19, 2026, according to Protos. That is only 15 cents above the $1 minimum needed to stay listed on Nasdaq.
By mid-afternoon that day the stock was at $1.08, down about 90% from its first weekly close of $11.04.
Key numbers behind the slide
- The stock peaked near $12.80 in the week SRM Entertainment announced a $100 million investment paid in TRX.
- It first closed a week below $2 in November 2025.
- The stock has fallen 50% from its highs earlier this year.
- On Oct. 19, 2026 it hit its lowest level since that deal.
What happens if the price stays under $1
If TRON closes below $1 for 30 trading days in a row, it starts a 180-day compliance period and then becomes eligible for delisting from Nasdaq.
Protos reported that this outcome is unlikely for now. The company could use a reverse stock split, which combines shares to raise the per-share price, to keep the price above $1 at least temporarily. Its market cap and financials are also not close to triggering other delisting rules.
What TRON Inc. is
TRON Inc. works mainly as a TRON treasury company. That means it buys, holds and stakes the TRON cryptocurrency, a digital asset used on the TRON network. Staking means locking up crypto to help run the network, usually in exchange for rewards. The company also buys old intellectual property and sells children's toys and accessories.
Protos said the company does not spend or make very much money. It also said Sun has repeatedly promoted the company's regular small TRON purchases as positive for both the crypto and the company, while the stock kept falling.
The Clear Street agreement and the company's TRX holdings
TRON Inc. recently entered an agreement with Clear Street to act as a broker to sell TRON shares to its clients. Protos said it is unclear whether this will help the struggling company.
The company currently holds just over $250 million worth of TRX, based on its publicly listed wallet address. Its market cap of over $500 million values it at nearly two times its assets.
What is confirmed and what is not
Confirmed: the trading prices and dates reported by Protos, the Nasdaq $1 rule and the 30-day and 180-day timelines, the Clear Street agreement, the company's stated TRX holdings, and its market cap figure.
Not confirmed: whether TRON Inc. will face delisting, whether a reverse stock split will be used, and whether the Clear Street arrangement will benefit the company. These remain open questions.
Why the $1 level matters
Staying above $1 keeps TRON Inc. on Nasdaq, a major U.S. stock exchange. Falling below it for long enough could start a process that ends in removal from the exchange, which would affect how easily the stock can be bought and sold.
