Multiliquid raises $8 million in funding for tokenized assets platform

Multiliquid completes $8 million funding round

Multiliquid has raised $8 million across its pre‑seed and seed funding rounds. The seed round was led by Polychain, with additional participation from Strobe Ventures, CMT Digital, Metalayer Ventures, Generative Ventures and Circle Ventures. The pre‑seed round was completed between May and June 2025, while the seed round took place between April and June 2026.

The startup's founder and CEO, Will Beeson, told The Block that the company has not formed a board and has not disclosed a valuation or how the total amount is split between the two rounds.

Key numbers from the funding

  • $8 million total raised
  • Polychain leads seed round
  • Pre‑seed raised May‑June 2025
  • Seed raised April‑June 2026
  • Platform live on Ethereum and Solana
  • Supports conversion of tokenized assets from Wellington Management, VanEck, Janus Henderson, Fasanara to USDC

What Multiliquid says about its platform

Multiliquid's CEO explained that the platform allows institutions to move value between tokenized assets and stablecoins in a single atomic transaction. This is designed to eliminate multi‑day redemption lags, fragmented liquidity and high exit friction. The system is non‑custodial and uses permissioned token standards to enforce transfer restrictions and compliance rules.

The company charges basis‑point fees for each conversion and does not plan to launch its own token at this time.

Confirmed details

The funding amount, lead investor, round dates, underlying technology stack (Ethereum and Solana), supported asset managers and stablecoins, fee structure and non‑custodial design are all confirmed.

What remains unknown

How the $8 million is divided between pre‑seed and seed, the company\u2019s valuation, whether any board or advisory roles were given to investors, transaction volume, the number of active users, and specific future integrations beyond tokenized cash and Treasury products are not yet disclosed.

Why this matters for crypto

The platform addresses a core problem in tokenized assets: the delay and friction between on‑chain representation and real‑world liquidity. By providing instant net‑asset‑value conversions, institutions can rebalance reserves, meet margin calls and switch yield strategies without waiting days. This could make tokenized investments more attractive to traditional finance.

Future plans

Multiliquid will use the capital to expand protocol engineering, add liquidity providers, integrate more tokenized cash and Treasury products across Ethereum Virtual Machine networks and Solana, and grow its team of engineers and business developers through early 2027.
