Educational Qualification
- For most trades: Passed Matriculation (Class 10) with minimum 50% marks and ITI certificate in relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT.
- For Medical Lab Technician (Pathology/Radiology): Passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with 50% marks in both 10th and 12th.

Selection Process for NFR Act Apprentice 2026
The selection will be based on merit. Marks obtained in ITI (and also 10th if required) will be considered. A merit list will be prepared for each trade and unit. No written examination is specified. Candidates will then be called for document verification. Final selection depends on merit and availability.
