You need a full-time or part-time Bachelor's degree in the matching branch from a recognised university. Minimum marks are 60% for UR/EWS/OBC-NCL and 50% for SC/ST. Salary during the one-year training is Rs. 50,000 per month in E-2 grade, pay scale Rs. 50,000 - Rs. 1,60,000. Approximate annual CTC is Rs. 14.50 lakh. After training, you move to E-3 grade with basic pay of Rs. 60,000 per month. Selected candidates must sign a service bond of Rs. 3,00,000 and serve 3 years after training.

There is no separate written exam for this recruitment. Your GATE 2025 score carries 80 marks and the personal interview carries 20 marks, for 100 marks in total. Shortlisting is done separately for each of the four areas, usually in a ratio of 1:6 or 1:10. After the interview, NLCIL will verify documents and conduct a medical exam.
