Stipend & Benefits — Southern Railway Apprentice 2026
• Fresher (10th Pass): ₹8,200 per month
• Fresher (12th Pass / MLT): ₹9,600 per month
• Ex-ITI Category: ₹9,600 per month
• Bonus: Completed apprentices with NCVT certificates get 20% preference in Level-1 direct railway jobs.
Selection Process — Southern Railway Apprentice 2026
1. Merit List: Prepared based on:
- 10th marks for Freshers (Fitter, Painter, Welder)
- 12th marks for MLT Freshers
- 10th + ITI marks for Ex-ITI candidates
2. Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates called for DV.
3. Medical Fitness Test: Final stage before selection.
