Selection Process — SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2026

The exam is carried out in four stages:

Paper‑I (Computer Based Test) – 100 questions (Reasoning, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, English). 60 minutes, 0.25 negative marking.
Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Endurance Test (PET) – Height, chest measurements and running/jumping/shot‑put events.
Paper‑II (English & Comprehension) – 100 questions, 1 hour, 0.50 negative marking.
Document Verification & Detailed Medical Examination – Final clearance.

Optional NCC bonus marks are added: NCC ‘C’ (5 %), ‘B’ (3 %), ‘A’ (2 %).

How to Apply — SSC CPO SI Recruitment 2026

Open the official SSC portal ssc.gov.in or download the ‘mySSC’ app.
Register once using your mobile number and email (Aadhaar verification is recommended).
Log in, locate the notification “Sub‑Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination 2026” and click “Apply”.
Choose three preferred test centres, select the exam language, and enter NCC details if you have a certificate.
Upload a recent passport‑size colour photo (plain background) and a scanned signature (JPEG, 10‑20 KB, 6 cm × 2 cm).
Pay the fee online (BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa/MasterCard/RuPay). Female, SC, ST and ESM candidates are exempt.
Review all details, submit before 30 Sep 2026, and print the confirmation page.
