Stand With Crypto: Mason Lynaugh Details 3.1 Million Advocate Push for Midterms

3.1 Million Advocates Target Midterm Elections

Mason Lynaugh, Executive Director of Stand With Crypto, explained that the organization is launching a final push ahead of the November 3, 2026 midterms. The group aims to mobilize 3.1 million advocates to influence congressional outcomes.

Lynaugh stated that crypto voters represent a "low-propensity swing bloc" that campaigns often miss. He argued that these voters could decide tight races, potentially leading to the most pro-Bitcoin Congress in history regardless of which party wins the majority.

Scale of the Voter Drive

  • The organization has 50 state chapters and 47 college chapters.
  • Stand With Crypto has endorsed 45 candidates.
  • The campaign relies on volunteer phone calls to organize voters, contrasting this with paid advertising.
  • A voter hub is available for citizens to check registration deadlines and candidate stances.

Progress on Pro-Crypto Legislation

Lynaugh highlighted that support for crypto regulation is bipartisan. He noted that 100 Democrats voted for the Clarity Act, while the GENIUS Act also received cross-party support. According to the director, the number of "A-rated" lawmakers on crypto issues increased from 90 to 338 over the past three years. While some Democrats remain opposed, the data suggests a growing alliance between crypto advocates and voters across political lines.
