Stonk token climbs 250% to $140 million market cap after Raydium LaunchLab integration
Stonk token jumps 250% after Raydium partnership
Stonk, the token used on the Solana launchpad StonkFun, rose more than 250% in a 24‑hour period on Sunday. The price reached around $0.16 and the market value grew to roughly $140 million.
Key numbers
- Price near $0.16 (up 250% in 24 h)
- Market cap about $140 million
- Daily trading volume around $135 million
- All‑time high $0.212 reached earlier in the day
Launchpad token pairing
StonkFun lets users create tokens that are paired with other assets, including tokenized stocks and exchange‑traded funds (ETFs). The platform’s own STONK token is paired with SPYx, a token that tracks the S&P 500 through the SPDR S&P 500 ETF. A tokenized stock represents the price movement of a real‑world stock but does not give holders ownership or voting rights.
Raydium LaunchLab integration
On Saturday StonkFun announced that new token deployments would go through Raydium’s LaunchLab. LaunchLab lowers deployment costs, reduces the risk of “sniping” (instant buying by bots), and moves liquidity to a Raydium pool after a token reaches a set threshold. Raydium’s native token RAY rose about 46% to $1.27, and Jupiter’s token JUP gained roughly 21% to $0.27.
Buyback and burn program
StonkFun runs a buyback program funded by a share of trading fees from its v3 pools. Every few minutes the program buys and burns the ten largest tokens by market cap, weighted by their size. To date, 78 different tokens have been bought and burned.
Community reaction
Solana’s official X (formerly Twitter) account replied to a StonkFun post, stating “We stand behind Stonk Tokens.” The platform also said the LaunchLab update would address user complaints about sniping, single‑wallet launches, and high deployment costs.
Why it matters
The price surge shows strong market interest in token launchpads that combine crypto with tokenized stocks. The Raydium integration could attract more liquidity and users, while the buyback program aims to support token values.
