Selection Process — UPESSC Head Master 2026

The selection will be made in three stages:

Written Examination — 360 Marks (120 Objective MCQs)
Personal Interview — 40 Marks
Document Verification

The total marks for the selection process is 400.

How to Apply — UPESSC Head Master Online Form 2026

Visit the official UPESSC portal at www.upessc.up.gov.in.
Complete the mandatory One Time Registration (OTR) using your basic details, email ID, and mobile number.
Log in to the recruitment portal and select Advt. No. 09/2026 (Head Master Examination 2026).
Choose your applying branch carefully: Balak Varg or Balika Varg. Male candidates apply only for Balak Varg; female candidates may choose either.
Fill in all academic credentials from High School up to Master's Degree, B.Ed./B.P.Ed., and teaching or administrative experience details in English.
Upload a scanned photograph (10–100 KB, JPG/JPEG) and signature on white background (10–100 KB, JPG/JPEG), along with required certificates in PDF format (20–200 KB).
Pay the examination fee of Rs. 1,500/- online through Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking before 22 November 2026.
Submit the online form and print at least 3 copies — you will need 2 copies during the interview.

Who Can Apply — UPESSC Head Master 2026

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this recruitment:

You must be an Indian citizen.
You must have completed a Master's Degree with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Indian university.
You must hold a B.Ed. or B.P.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.
You must have a minimum of 4 years of teaching experience as PGT or TGT in classes 9 to 12, OR 4 years of experience as Headmaster of a recognized Junior High School.
Your age must be between 30 and 62 years as on 01 July 2026.
