Male candidates can apply only for Balak Varg. |

Selection Process — UPESSC UP Principal 2026
The selection will be based on:
- Written Examination (360 Marks)
- Personal Interview (40 Marks)
- Document Verification
The written exam consists of 120 objective MCQs carrying 360 marks. The interview carries 40 marks, making the total 400 marks.
How to Apply — UPESSC UP Principal 2026
Follow these steps to submit your application:
- Visit the official UPESSC portal at www.upessc.up.gov.in.
- Complete One Time Registration (OTR) with basic details, email ID, and mobile number.
- Log in and select Advt. No. 08/2026 (Principal Examination 2026).
- Choose your applying branch carefully—Balak Varg for males and Balak Varg or Balika Varg for females.
- Fill in all academic details from High School up to Master’s Degree, B.Ed., and teaching/administrative experience in English.
- Upload a scanned photograph (10–100 KB, JPG/JPEG) and signature (10–100 KB, JPG/JPEG) on white background. Also upload required certificates in PDF format (20–200 KB).
- Pay the fee of Rs. 2,000/- online via Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking through Canara Bank or ICICI Bank before 22 November 2026.
- Submit the form and print at least three copies (two are needed during the interview).
