Selection Process — UPSC ESE 2027
The exam runs in three stages, plus document and medical checks.

How to Apply — UPSC ESE 2027 Online Form
Follow these steps to finish your application:
1. Open the official UPSC portal at upsconline.nic.in.
2. Create your account and complete the Universal Registration to get your Universal Registration Number (URN).
3. Log in with your URN, email or mobile number and pick "Engineering Services Examination 2027".
4. Fill the Common Application Form (CAF) with your personal details, academics and discipline preference.
5. Take a live photograph and upload three stacked signatures on white paper in black ink. You can use the UPSC ESE photo and signature resizer to get the right size and format.
6. Upload a valid photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport or Driving License.
7. Pay Rs. 200/- online if you are not exempted.
8. Submit the form before 6 October 2026, 6:00 PM and save a printout for later.
