XRP hits $2.14 bull target as ETF inflows reach $474 million
US ETF inflows boost XRP outlook
XRP could reach $2.14 by late November if current trends continue, driven by steady demand from US exchange-traded funds (ETFs). An ETF is a fund that trades on stock exchanges and holds assets like crypto, allowing investors to buy exposure without owning the coins directly.
Data from SoSoValue shows that US XRP ETFs have recorded net inflows for six consecutive months. These inflows total approximately $474 million. This consistent buying adds momentum to the price after XRP rebounded roughly 23% to 24% over the previous 30 days.
Market model forecasts are divided
CryptoSlate’s 90-day prediction model places the $2.14 target in the top 20% of possible outcomes. This optimistic view is nearly 59% higher than its reference close of $1.35. However, the model’s median, or middle-ground, forecast is much lower at $1.47. The bearish estimate sits at $1.05.
The model generates these figures using 2,000 simulated price paths based on historical volatility and regression analysis. Results can differ if new market conditions or regulatory shocks occur.
Leveraged bets add price pressure
Derivatives positioning could make price movements more volatile. CME Group data shows that leveraged funds are currently net short the equivalent of 115.7 million XRP. Open interest on CME XRP futures jumped 39.6% in recent periods.
If XRP prices rise alongside continued ETF buying, traders holding these short positions may be forced to buy back the asset to cover their losses. This process, known as short-covering, can add further upward pressure on the price.
Regulatory clarity improves
The long-running legal battle between Ripple and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) appears to have eased. The two parties mutually agreed to drop their appeals in August 2025. While a $125 million penalty remains, the resolution removes a major source of uncertainty for the asset.
For XRP to move toward the $2.14 target, the recent strength in demand must persist beyond the August rebound period.
