AI Capability Search

How to Use This Tool

Select one or more capability chips, choose a match mode, and click Search Models. Every model in the live models.dev catalog that matches is returned with pricing, context window and capability badges, cheapest input price first.

Match Modes

• Match all (AND) - The model must support every capability you select. Use this when a task needs multiple capabilities at once.
• Match any (OR) - The model only needs to support at least one selected capability. Use this to browse a broader set.

Capability Sources

• Structural - Vision, OCR/PDF, Audio and Video come from the model modality list; Tool Calling, Function Calling and JSON Output come from the tool-call and structured-output flags. These are reliable.
• Estimated (est.) - Image Generation, Search and Code are estimated from model descriptions because models.dev does not publish those flags. Treat these results as a starting point and verify before committing.

Understanding the Results

• Price columns - USD per 1 million tokens for input and output. Models without published pricing sort to the end.
• Capability badges - Show which capabilities each match actually supports.
• Context - Context window in tokens; empty means the provider does not publish it.

Pricing is in USD per 1 million tokens and is synced automatically from models.dev.
