What this PSC tool does
This is a general Public Service Commission photo and signature editor. It crops an image to a selected preset, converts it to the required format and compresses it toward the stored size window. You can use it on a phone or a computer; the result downloads to your device.
It is not tied to one state commission. The preset list can include entries from several exams, so the first item you see may not be the one your notice asks for. Read the label before uploading.
Choose the right commission
Open the preset selector and search for the exact commission name and document type. A photo preset should not be used for a signature, and a signature preset should not be used for a photo. If your commission is not listed, do not guess a similar entry; use a custom-size image tool and follow the notice.
The tool does not verify your eligibility or submit the form. It only prepares the image file.
How to prepare the image
Start with a recent colour photo on a plain light background. Face the camera with your eyes open, no hat and no heavy filter. Crop so the head and shoulders fit the preset, then check the preview at full size.
For a signature, sign on white paper with dark ink, photograph it straight on and crop tightly around the strokes. Avoid shadows and ruled paper. A clean, high-contrast signature survives compression better than a faint pencil mark.
Common errors
The portal may reject a file because the dimensions, KB size or format do not match its current rule. It may also reject a photo where the face is too small or the background is busy. Check the downloaded file properties before uploading, and keep the original image for another attempt.
Privacy
The image is uploaded for server-side processing. Do not use a public converter for identity documents if you can process them locally. The page does not submit or store your application.
