The Junior Associate role
SBI Clerk is the bank's Junior Associate recruitment: a customer-facing post in branches, covering counter work, account opening, cash handling and the day-to-day queries that walk in the door. Selection is by preliminary test, main test and a language proficiency check. There is no interview stage, which makes the application form and its photographs the first real filter.
The image you upload is printed on the call letter and used at the test centre to confirm identity. Because clerks are posted by circle and often in the local language, the application also asks for language preferences — but the photo and signature rules are the same across circles.
Using the converter
The page is fixed to the SBI preset record, so the exam selector is already set. Pick the document, upload your file, crop it to the guide, and download a JPEG. Everything is processed on your device with a canvas; nothing is posted to a server.

From photo to submitted form
- Choose Photograph or Signature from the dropdown. The exam stays on SBI.
- Upload a sharp original. For the photo, use a plain background and even light; for the signature, dark ink on unlined white paper.
- Crop tightly enough that the face or signature is readable at the stored size.
- Confirm the estimated weight, then download the JPEG.
- Upload it to the Clerk application and keep a copy for the call letter stage.
What gets Clerk applications sent back
- A signature in block letters. The bank expects your normal running-hand signature, not printed text.
- Photo taken on a webcam. Soft focus and a busy room behind you are easy to reject.
- Weight outside the band. The stored preset has a floor as well as a ceiling, so over-compressing a signature can also fail.
- Wrong file type. Renaming a PNG does not make it a JPEG.
- Unreadable crop. Shrinking a full page of text into 140 × 60 px destroys the signature.
What the page cannot do
It cannot read the Clerk advertisement for you, detect your face, clean up a shadowed signature or submit the form. It does not store your image, and it does not guarantee that the portal will accept the result.
