What Is the SSC Result Checker?

The SSC Result checker is a free online tool for looking up a Secondary School Certificate result in Bangladesh. The SSC examination is the public exam students take at the end of Class 10, and it is conducted by the education boards. A result from this exam decides which college a student joins for Class 11 and Class 12, so families check it as soon as the boards release it.

This page asks for five things: the education board, a six digit roll number, a ten digit registration number, the passing year, and the text shown in an image captcha. How This Tool Works

When the page opens, two requests run in the background. The board list is fetched from the official result service and cached for thirty minutes, with a built in fallback list of the eleven boards used for SSC level examinations, so the dropdown still works if the board service is briefly unavailable. At the same time an image captcha is generated for you, and the answer box stays disabled until the image has loaded.

The captcha is short lived. Each one carries a timestamp, and the tool treats a captcha as expired after about one hundred seconds. If you take longer than that, the page tells you it has loaded a new one, and it also refreshes the captcha automatically after every search, success or failure, because a captcha can only be used once.

When you press Get Result, the page sends your roll number, registration number, board id, passing year, captcha text and the captcha timestamp to this site. The server checks that the captcha is still fresh, then posts the request to the official result service. A successful reply gives an information block and a raw subject string, which the tool parses into rows of subject code, letter grade, subject name and mark. Results are deliberately not cached, because caching would allow a later request to skip the captcha check.

How to Use the SSC Result Checker

1. Open the Education Board dropdown and select your board, for example Dhaka or Rajshahi.
2. Type your six digit SSC Roll Number in the roll field.
3. Type your ten digit SSC Registration Number in the registration field. Both numbers are required and must be exact.
4. Select your Passing Year from the list.
5. Read the text in the captcha image and type it into the captcha box. Press the refresh icon beside the image if it is hard to read.
6. Press Get Result, or hit Enter while you are still in the captcha box.
7. Read the card on the right: the badge shows the result status, the GPA is shown large, and the subject table below lists grades and marks.
8. Use Share Result to copy a link with your details, or Find Another Result to clear the form and start a new search.

Limits and Rules

This checker covers SSC level results served by the official education board result service. Passing years run from 2010 to 2030, so a result outside that range cannot be searched here. It is not a tool for technical board diploma semester results, which need the BTEB semester checkers on this site.

The roll number must be exactly six digits and the registration exactly ten digits. The board, year, roll and registration are matched together by the official service, so a single wrong digit returns no record. The captcha must be answered within its short lifetime, and each captcha can be used only once, which is why a new one loads after every attempt.

Status, GPA and subject grades are displayed exactly as the official service returns them. This tool does not calculate grades, does not change a status and does not display any figure the board has not published. It also does not generate a downloadable official marksheet, so for any formal submission you should use the official channel as well.

Please search only your own result or a result you have permission to check. Stay within the request limits above, avoid automated bulk queries, and confirm official details against the board record before using them in an admission or job application.

When to Use This Tool and When Not To

Use it on result day when you want a fast answer on a phone, when a relative asks you to check a roll number, or when you need the GPA and subject grades together before filling a college admission or job form. It is also a practical way to double check a result you already saw somewhere else.

Skip it when you need a technical or vocational board diploma semester result, because those belong to the BTEB checkers. It is not an official marksheet download or a transcript service, and it cannot show a result before the boards publish it. If a search returns no record, the cause is almost always a wrong digit, a wrong board or year, or a result that is not yet in the official service.
