JKPSC photo with date stamp
JKPSC applications can ask for a photo that carries the candidate's name and the date of taking the photograph. The stored JKPSC photo preset is labelled as a date-stamped photo, but the resizer does not print text for you. You must add any required name or date in a separate editing step before or after resizing.
This page crops and compresses the file; it does not create the stamp or submit the application.
Stored JKPSC values
| Upload | Shape | Byte window | Format | DPI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Photo | 3.5×4.5 cm with date stamp | 10–20 KB | JPEG | 200 |
| Signature | 3.5×1.5 cm | 10–20 KB | JPEG | 200 |
These are stored values. The JKPSC notice for your post is the authority; confirm whether a name and date are required and what limits apply. The presets have not been changed.
Adding the name and date
If the notice requires a printed name and date, add them to a copy of the photo before the final resize. Use a small, readable font and keep the text away from the face. Then run the stamped image through the preset. Do not cover the eyes, nose or mouth.
Signature caution
The signature window is also 10–20 KB. A detailed signature may lose fine strokes at that size. Sign with dark ink on white paper, crop around the strokes and check the result at full size.

Date-stamp placement
If the notice asks for a date, place it in a clear corner or margin where it does not touch the face. Keep the font small enough to remain readable after the 10–20 KB compression. A stamp that covers an eye or the chin can make the photo unusable.
The stamp is not a substitute for a clean photo
A printed name and date do not fix a blurry or badly cropped image. Start with a sharp photo, add the text in a clear margin, then resize. Check the final file at full size before uploading.
