How to Calculate Depop Fees

When Are the Fees Deducted?

If you are selling using Depop Payments (via Stripe), all fees—including selling fees, payment processing fees, and boosting fees—are deducted automatically before your sale proceeds are paid to your bank account.

If you sell via PayPal, sale proceeds are sent to your PayPal account first. The Depop selling fee (10%) and PayPal’s payment processing fee are then deducted as separate charges from your PayPal balance.

Are the Fees Refundable?

If your sale is refunded, all fees (including selling fees, payment processing fees, and boosting fees) will be automatically reversed for transactions using Depop Payments. For sellers outside the UK or US using PayPal, you can request a refund for the Depop selling fees by contacting Depop Support and providing a screenshot of the refund confirmation along with your @username.

What About Bundles?

If you sold a bundle on Depop, Depop selling fees (10%) apply to each item in the bundle and will appear separately in your transaction details. Payment processing fees, however, are charged once per bundle transaction.
