HSSC photo with name and date

Haryana Staff Selection Commission applications can require a photo that carries the candidate's name and the date the photo was taken. The stored HSSC photo preset is labelled for that use, but this page does not print text on the image. Add the required name and date in a separate editing step.

The resizer crops and compresses the file; it does not create the stamp or submit the HSSC form.

Adding the name and date

If the notice requires a printed name and date, add them to a copy of the photo before the final resize. Keep the text small and place it in a clear margin so it does not cover the face. Then run the stamped image through the preset and check that the text is still readable.

Photo and signature quality

Use a recent colour photo with a plain background and even light. For the signature, sign on white paper with dark ink and crop tightly around the strokes. The signature window is wider than the photo window in some notices, but a clean file still matters more than filling the maximum size.

Keep the stamp readable

After compression, open the stamped photo at full size and check that the name and date can still be read. If the text has turned into a grey smear, use a larger font or a cleaner background before resizing. Do not cover the face to make the stamp fit.
