The Teletalk signature requirement
Teletalk Bangladesh Limited takes a separate signature upload alongside the photograph in its recruitment applications. It is a distinct file with its own dimensions and its own weight limit, and it is validated apart from the photograph rather than as part of it.
The stored signature requirement is 300 by 80 pixels, capped at 60 KB with a floor of 10 KB, in JPEG or JPG. The shape is a wide horizontal strip rather than a tall block, so the writing has to be laid out across the width of the frame with the ink close to the edges vertically. Leaving generous empty space above and below the signature inside that strip is the most common reason the file ends up heavier than the ceiling allows.
The Teletalk notice itself is on www.teletalk.com.bd. Check the upload section of that document before generating files, since these requirements are revised between intakes and the values stored in this tool follow the recorded specification.
This page sets out the numbers Teletalk actually asks for. It is not a general guide to cropping or to the tool interface, because those instructions do not change from one exam to the next and they are written up separately.
What the Teletalk form asks you to upload
The form takes one file, so the work is concentrated on getting that single upload right.
- A signature at 300 x 80 px, no heavier than 60 KB and no lighter than 10 KB.
| Item | Size | Format | Max file size | Min | DPI |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Signature | 300 x 80 | JPEG OR JPG | 60 KB | 10 KB | 96 |
The Teletalk numbers, and why they matter
The Teletalk sizes are pixel dimensions, which is the simplest case. Pick the preset and the output width and height match the requirement exactly, with no unit conversion in between and no DPI to set.
There are two numbers to satisfy on the Teletalk signature, not one. The file must sit at or below 60 KB and at or above 10 KB. Compressing harder fixes the first problem but cannot fix the second, so an undersized signature needs a larger or more closely cropped original rather than more compression.
If the Teletalk application refuses your file
- If Teletalk refuses a file, start with the weight on the result card against the published limit, then look at the picture. At this ceiling, an uncropped phone photo straight off the camera will not fit, so crop before you compress rather than after.
- Check the signature separately from the photograph. A 300 x 80 px box with a wide margin around the writing will breach the 60 KB ceiling on its own, which is a different fix from anything that applies to the portrait.
- Repeating an identical submission is the most common wasted step here. Compare the values above against the live notification, and if the notification has moved, change one value at a time rather than re-running the whole form.
Frequently Asked Questions
Cropping to a face, choosing a compression level, and the reasons a correctly sized photograph still gets refused do not vary by exam, so those are covered in one place rather than repeated here. Read the shared photo and signature guide.
