JSON YAML TOML Converter

Paste JSON, YAML or TOML, pick the target format (or let Auto Detect guess the input), and convert in one click. The conversion runs on the server with strict parsers, so the output is valid, properly indented data you can drop straight into your config files or CI pipelines.

How to Use This Tool

Choose the from and to formats with the dropdowns, paste your data into the Input box, then click Convert. The result appears in the Output box, ready to copy. If you are not sure what format your input is in, leave the first dropdown on Auto Detect and the tool will figure it out for you.

1. Enter your data

Paste or type JSON, YAML or TOML into the Input editor. You can click Sample to load a ready-made example, Paste to read your clipboard, or Swap to move the output back into the input. Each editor supports up to 200,000 characters.

2. Convert

Click Convert. The tool parses the input with a strict parser and serializes it into the target format with clean, consistent indentation. When Auto Detect is on, the detected format is shown in a green badge next to the dropdowns.

3. Copy the result

Use Copy to put the converted data on your clipboard. If you want to chain conversions (for example TOML to JSON and then JSON to YAML), click Swap to send the output back to the input box.

सामान्यप्रश्नाः

Short उत्तरम् for the प्रश्नः उपयोक्तारः ask before trusting the फलम्

It converts between JSON, YAML and TOML in all six directions: JSON to YAML, JSON to TOML, YAML to JSON, YAML to TOML, TOML to JSON and TOML to YAML.

The tool tries to parse the input as JSON first, then as TOML, and finally as YAML. The first format that parses cleanly as structured data is used, and the detected format is shown as a badge on the page.

Yes. To guarantee valid output for all three formats, the conversion runs on the server over HTTPS. The data is not stored or logged.

Each conversion accepts up to 200,000 characters. Larger inputs are rejected to keep conversions fast.

Yes. Converting a format to itself acts as a formatter: the output is re-serialized with clean indentation and consistent quoting.

Yes. Any valid YAML or TOML document works, including nested tables, arrays of tables, and quoted strings.
