The Markdown Metadata Generator converts a JSON object into standard YAML front matter that can be pasted at the top of a Markdown file. The generated block uses the --- delimiters expected by static site generators.
Why Use This Tool?
Front matter is the metadata block at the top of Markdown files used by Jekyll, Hugo, Eleventy, and similar tools. Writing it by hand means keeping dashes, indentation, and value types consistent. This tool produces that block from a JSON object so the result is ready to paste.
How It Works
