The XML Beautifier transforms messy, minified XML into a clean, properly indented document that is easy to read and edit. Beautify is selected by default so the output is ready to read and review; you can switch to Minify at any time from the mode selector.

XML documents from APIs or legacy systems are often compressed into a single line. Manual formatting is time-consuming. This tool instantly restores proper tree structure so the hierarchy is clear at a glance.
How It Works
- Paste your raw or minified XML into the editor, or load it from a direct file URL.
- Click "Process Code" — Beautify is the default mode; you can switch to Minify any time.
- If the XML is invalid, the tool surfaces a clear error message from the formatter.
- Input and output character counts are shown below the result for a quick size check.
- Copy the formatted output or download it as a .xml file.
