Newisty is an independent personal project created and maintained by Yasir Arafat. Every tool available on this website is designed, developed, tested, and maintained with the goal of making everyday digital tasks easier.

When browser processing is used, your files are not uploaded to our server.

This approach works well for certain types of processing and offers additional privacy because files remain on your device.

Server Processing

Many image and PDF tools process files on our servers.

Server-side processing offers several advantages, including:

More advanced processing capabilities.

For many complex image and PDF operations, server processing provides a better overall experience than relying solely on browser processing.

File Storage

Newisty currently operates two generations of file processing systems.

Legacy Tools

Some older tools temporarily store uploaded and processed files on our servers so users can download the final results.

These files are not intended for permanent storage.

Our automated cleanup system regularly removes older files, typically within approximately one to three hours after upload.

The exact time depends on when the automated cleanup process runs.

Updated Tools

Many newer tools use an improved processing system.

In these tools, uploaded files are processed on the server and permanently deleted before the processed result is returned to your browser.

Except for the time required to complete processing, these files are not stored on our servers.

Whenever possible, new tools are developed using this newer approach.

Privacy

Protecting user privacy is an important part of developing Newisty tools.

We do not use uploaded files for advertising, marketing, or unrelated purposes.

Files are processed only to perform the task requested by the user.

Free Access

One of Newisty's goals is to make useful online tools available to as many people as possible.

Whenever practical, tools and features are provided free of charge.
