What the Agniveer recruitment is
Agniveer entries are recruited under the Agnipath scheme for the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. Each service runs its own application portal and its own selection programme, but all of them ask for a photograph, a signature, and in some cases a left thumb impression. Because the three services use different image frames, a file prepared for one service may not fit another. The tool groups the rows together so you can choose the right one before you crop.

The record also stores a left thumb impression at 200 x 200 px, 10 KB to 50 KB, for forms that ask for one. These are stored values, not a substitute for the official notice. If your service advertisement prints a different frame or weight, follow the advertisement.
How to prepare an Agniveer upload
- Open the tool and select the Agniveer row for your service. Check the dimensions shown before uploading.
- Upload a recent colour photograph with a plain background, facing the camera and evenly lit.
- Crop so the full head and shoulders fit the frame; the Air Force frame is small, so keep the face sharp and avoid extra background.
- Sign on white paper in black or blue ink, scan it, and crop the signature without cutting the first or last stroke.
- Download the JPEG and reopen it to confirm the pixel size, format, and weight before attaching it to the application.
Photo, signature, and thumb impression advice
A clean, recent photo matters more than a heavily edited one. Avoid filters, tilted angles, caps, and shadows across the face. For the signature, use the same style you will use on paper documents and keep the scan free of ruled lines. For a thumb impression, press evenly on white paper, clean the thumb first, and scan the print without smudging it. If the form does not ask for a thumb impression, do not upload one.
Common mistakes and limits
The most common error is choosing the Army row when applying to the Navy, or the reverse, because both sit in the same preset list. Recheck the service and the post before cropping. The tool does not verify eligibility, repair a blurred scan, or guarantee portal acceptance, and it cannot decide which notice applies to you. Keep the original images until the application is submitted.
