AIAPGET photo and signature
AIAPGET is the postgraduate entrance test for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy courses. The NTA application asks for a photo and signature, and both appear on the admit card. This page applies the stored AIAPGET shapes and byte windows.
Stored AIAPGET presets
| Upload | Shape | Byte window | Format | DPI |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Photo | 3.5×4.5 cm | 10–200 KB | JPEG | 200 |
| Signature | 3.5×1.5 cm | 4–30 KB | JPEG | 200 |
These are stored values. The current AIAPGET information bulletin is the authority; confirm the shape and limits before uploading. The presets have not been changed.
Photo advice
Use a recent colour photo with a plain light background. Face the camera, keep your eyes open and avoid hats, filters and heavy shadows. Crop so the head and shoulders fit the frame without cutting the forehead or chin. A clear photo matters at the exam centre, not only at upload.
Signature advice
Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, photograph it straight on and crop around the strokes. The stored signature window is narrow, so avoid a faint pencil signature or a shadow across the paper. Check the byte count after processing.

Common AIAPGET upload mistakes
An old photo, a signature with the first letter cut off, or a file saved in the wrong format can be rejected even when the byte size is within range. Use a recent photo, crop the signature with a small margin and keep the downloaded JPEG unchanged. Check both files at full size before uploading.
Keep both files until submission
Store the processed photo and signature with the originals. A rejected upload can then be replaced without taking a new photo or rescanning the signature.
One last check before upload
Open both downloaded files at full size and confirm the face and signature are readable, not just within the byte limit. A clean copy also helps if the admit card photo looks faded.
