ArbitrumDAO earns $6.19 million in first half of 2026, with Robinhood Chain contributing 35% in July
ArbitrumDAO, the organization overseeing the Arbitrum blockchain network, earned $6.19 million in the first half of 2026 from four income sources, according to a report from the Arbitrum Foundation. In July, a single external chain, Robinhood Chain, accounted for 35% of the DAO’s income through licensing fees.
Diversified income streams
The income came from transaction fees on Arbitrum One, a service called Timeboost, licensing fees from the Arbitrum Expansion Program, and treasury income. The report highlights that the network’s financial profile is broadening, with a blended gross margin above 97%.
The Arbitrum Expansion Program allows external chains using Arbitrum’s technology to return 10% of their net revenue to the Arbitrum ecosystem. Robinhood Chain, which settles transactions on Ethereum rather than Arbitrum, contributed $360,000 in licensing fees in July, representing 35% of ArbitrumDAO’s income for that month.
Network activity and adoption
Arbitrum processed 478 million transactions in the first half of 2026, bringing its total to 2.7 billion transactions since launch. The network’s economic activity, referred to as ecosystem GDP by the Foundation, reached $206 million for the period, with a cumulative total of $1.7 billion. Average monthly stablecoin transfer volume exceeded $70 billion.
Arbitrum also leads in tokenized real-world asset deployments by count, with over 3,300 assets, though Ethereum holds far more value in these assets. The report notes enterprise adoption from companies like LG Electronics, Mastercard, and PayPal, which have integrated or tested services on the network.
Token supply and treasury
As of August 17, 2026, 92.3% of the total ARB token supply was unlocked or held in the ArbitrumDAO treasury. The remaining 7.7% is scheduled to vest by March 2027. The DAO held $125 million in non-ARB treasury assets as of June 30.
