What Education You Need: AE needs an engineering degree. JE needs a diploma or degree. DEO needs graduation with computer qualification. Attendant needs 10th with 2-year ITI. Medical posts need MBBS, nursing, pharmacy or related training. Check the official notice for your exact post. Most Class III and IV posts are only for Chhattisgarh domicile candidates. For Class II posts, non-domicile candidates have a maximum age of 30 years.

Selection Process — CSPTCL Recruitment 2026
First you will face a computer-based test (CBT). It has 100 questions for 100 marks in 2 hours. 80 marks are for your subject. 20 marks are for general knowledge, English, Hindi, reasoning and maths. There is negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
After CBT, you may need an interview, physical test, typing test, shorthand test or document check. DEO candidates need typing tests in Hindi and English. Stenographer candidates need shorthand and typing tests.
Selected candidates must sign a service bond for at least 4 years. The security deposit is Rs. 3,00,000 for AE, Rs. 2,00,000 for JE, Rs. 1,00,000 for other Class III, and Rs. 50,000 for Class IV posts.
