What Education You Need: You must have a valid ITI pass certificate from NCVT or SCVT in the matching trade. You should have passed 10th standard. For Welder, Carpenter, Plumber, Mason you need only 8th pass. Use our PAN Card guide to complete Aadhaar e-KYC on NAPS.
Selection Process — IGCAR Kalpakkam ITI Trade Apprentice 2026
There is no written exam. You will be chosen on your ITI course marks percentage. If marks are equal, higher 10th/8th percentage wins. If still equal, older candidate is picked. Shortlisted candidates must do document check and police verification. You must pass a medical test. Training is for 1 year at Kalpakkam. No permanent job is given after training.
How to Apply — IGCAR Kalpakkam ITI Trade Apprentice 2026
Step 1: Register on NAPS portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in with Aadhaar e-KYC. Note your registration number.
Step 2: Go to www.igcar.gov.in from 20 July to 19 August 2026. Click Opportunities > Recruitment.
Step 3: Apply for one trade only. Enter NAPS number, email, mobile.
Step 4: Upload PDF of caste cert (if any), 8th/10th marksheet, ITI certificate and marksheets.
Step 5: Check details and submit. Print confirmation page.
