Physical Standards & Fitness Test — Indian Coast Guard Navik 2026
Height Requirements:
- Male: minimum 157 cm
- Female: minimum 152 cm
- Relaxation: up to 5 cm for North-East/Gorkha candidates; up to 2 cm for island residents
Chest (Male Only): Minimum 77 cm with expansion of 5 cm
Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per Navy/Coast Guard medical norms.

Selection Process — Indian Coast Guard Navik CGEPT 2026
The selection happens in four stages:
- Stage-I: Computer Based Online Examination (CBE) as per the post applied
- Stage-II: Physical Fitness Test, Assessment & Adaptability Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination
- Stage-III: Final Document Verification and Pre-Enrolment Medical at INS Chilka
- Stage-IV: Original Document Verification and Educational Credential Authentication with issuing Boards/Universities
Who Can Apply — Indian Coast Guard Navik 2026
Male and female Indian nationals can apply. However, female candidates are eligible only for Navik (General Duty) posts.
