What Education You Need — IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026

Your qualification must be passed by 30 November 2026. You need at least 50% marks in aggregate. For SC/ST and PwBD candidates, the minimum is 45%. You can apply for only one trade code.
You cannot apply if you have a higher qualification like BE/B.Tech, MBA, CA, MCA or LLB. You also cannot apply if you have done apprenticeship training before or have 1 year or more job experience after your qualification.
Selection Process — IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
There is no written test and no interview. IOCL will make a merit list based on your marks in the essential qualification. Higher marks will rank higher.
After the merit list, shortlisted candidates will go for document verification and medical fitness. Final training place will be allotted based on merit and your preferences.
How to Apply — IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Follow these steps in order. You must first register on NAPS or NATS, then on the IOCL Pipelines portal.
Step 1: Register on NAPS at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for Data Entry posts, or on NATS for Technician and Trade Apprentice posts.
Step 2: Apply for the IOCL establishment ID of your region on that portal.
Step 3: Register on https://plapps.indianoilpipelines.in/ with the same email and mobile number.
Step 4: Fill Part-I and Part-II. Upload your photo (20-50 KB, JPG) and signature (10-30 KB, JPG).
Step 5: Enter your NAPS/NATS number and submit before 5 December 2026.
