Selection Process
The JSSC JILCCE 2026 selection involves two main written stages. If the commission receives fewer than 50,000 applications, they may conduct only the Mains exam. The marking scheme includes 3 marks for every right answer and a deduction of 1 mark for every wrong answer.
- Preliminary Exam: General Studies, Jharkhand GK, Math, Science, and Reasoning (120 Questions).
- Mains Exam: Three papers covering Language, Regional Language, and General Knowledge.
- Merit List: Based on total marks from Paper 2 and Paper 3 of the Mains exam.
