Selection Process — SBI Clerk Recruitment 2026

You will be selected in three phases:

Phase-I: Preliminary Exam
- Online test with 100 questions (100 marks).
- Sections: English Language (30 marks), Numerical Ability (35 marks), Reasoning Ability (35 marks).
- Duration: 1 hour (20 minutes per section).
- Negative marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer.
Phase-II: Main Exam
- Online test with 190 questions (200 marks).
- Sections: General/Financial Awareness (50 marks), General English (40 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks), Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (60 marks).
- Duration: 2 hours 40 minutes.
- Negative marking: 1/4th mark deducted for each wrong answer.
- Bonus: Trained SBI Apprentices get 5 bonus marks (2.5% of 200) added to their Main exam score.
Phase-III: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
- You must prove you can read, write, speak, and understand the local language of the state you applied for.
- No interview round.

Click on “RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR ASSOCIATES (SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR SC/ST/OBC BACKLOG VACANCIES)”.
Complete New Registration by entering your name, mobile number, and email ID. You will receive a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
Log in and fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, state choice, and opted local language.
Upload scanned documents:
- Photograph: 20–50 KB (use our Photo Resizer Tool if needed)
- Live Photo: Capture as instructed
- Signature: 10–20 KB (black ink on white paper)
- Left Thumb Impression: 20–50 KB
- Handwritten Declaration: 50–100 KB (text provided in notification)
Pay the application fee online (Rs. 750 for OBC; no fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen).
Submit the form and take a printout of the final application and E-Receipt for future reference.
