PSSSB photo and signature files

The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board advertises group C and other posts through its own application portal. The photo and signature windows are small, so a file that looks acceptable on a phone can still fail the byte check.

This page applies the stored PSSSB shapes, converts both uploads to JPEG and compresses them toward the stored windows. It does not fill the Punjab application form.

Photo advice

Use a recent colour photo with a plain light background. Face the camera with your eyes open and no hat or filter. Crop so the head and shoulders fit the frame without cutting the forehead or chin. A simple, evenly lit photo compresses better than one with a busy background.

Signature advice

Sign on plain white paper with dark ink, photograph it straight on and crop around the strokes. The 10–20 KB window is narrow, so avoid a faint pencil signature or a shadow across the paper. Check the downloaded file at full size, not just the byte count.

Common PSSSB upload mistakes

A photo just over 50 KB, a signature below 10 KB or a file saved with a different extension can fail. Check the actual byte count after download, not the size shown by a gallery app. Keep the originals in case the portal asks for a replacement.

Check the current advertisement

PSSSB notices can change between recruitment cycles. A shape that worked in an earlier advertisement may be replaced. Confirm the current photo and signature clause before you upload, and keep the downloaded files until the application is accepted.
