What Education You Need — IBPS RRB XV 2026
| Office Assistant (Multipurpose) | Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. You should know the local language of the RRB you apply to. Computer knowledge is preferred. |
| Officer Scale-I | Graduation in any discipline. Degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing, IT, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy get extra weight. |
| Officer Scale-II (GBO) | Graduation with minimum 50% marks plus 2 years experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution. |
| Officer Scale-II (CA) | Passed CA exam from ICAI with 1 year experience as a Chartered Accountant. |
| Officer Scale-II (Law) | Law degree with minimum 50% marks and 2 years experience as an advocate or Law Officer in a bank. |
| Officer Scale-II (Marketing) | MBA in Marketing with 1 year relevant experience. |
| Officer Scale-II (Treasury Manager) | CA or MBA in Finance with 1 year relevant experience. |
| Officer Scale-II (Agriculture) | Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Dairy, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Engineering or Pisciculture with 2 years experience. |
| Officer Scale-II (IT) | Degree in Electronics, Communication, Computer Science or IT with minimum 50% marks and 1 year experience. Certificates in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC or OCP are a plus. |
| Officer Scale-III | Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks and at least 5 years experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution. |
Correction Window — IBPS RRB XV 2026 (07–08 October Only)
The edit link sits inactive until 07 October 2026. Two separate correction links are used — one for Office Assistant and one for Scale-I, II and III. Log in with your registration number and password, then change only the fields that are editable. Common fixes include category, date of birth, educational details and preferred RRB or state.
Keep in mind that certain locked fields, like your name or post applied for, may not change. Take a printout after saving so you have proof of the corrected form. Also keep an eye on other bank exam notifications if you plan to apply again in the coming months.
Selection Process — IBPS RRB XV 2026
Selection happens in stages. Clear one stage to reach the next:

• Online Mains Exam (Office Assistant ends here, followed by language test)
• Interview (for Officer Scale-I, II and III)

Officer posts carry an additional interview round, while Office Assistant candidates are selected on the basis of the Mains score plus local language proof.

2. Register with your name, mobile number and email ID to get a provisional registration number.
3. Fill in personal, educational and experience details for the post you want.
4. Choose the RRB and state you are applying to.
5. Upload your photo and signature in the exact format IBPS asks for.
6. Pay the fee online using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
7. Submit the form and save the confirmation page with your registration number.
8. If something is wrong, use the correction link on 07–08 October 2026 and save the edited form again.
