The team noted that when they first launched, gas fees— the cost of making transactions on a blockchain— were higher on Ethereum, making the Base network a more practical choice at the time.

As the platform matures, the team believes Ethereum provides the necessary combination of being permissionless and immutable. They seek to create a system that is highly credible for its users.

According to data from DefiLlama, Trueo has a total value locked (TVL) of $795,687. TVL refers to the total amount of money currently deposited or held within the protocol. This ranking places it in the 14th spot among prediction market platforms operating on the blockchain.
