US Bitcoin ETFs Reach Record $998 Million in Daily Inflows

US Bitcoin ETFs see highest daily inflows of 2026

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded nearly $1 billion in net inflows on Monday. An ETF is an investment fund that trades on traditional stock exchanges, allowing investors to track the price of an asset like Bitcoin. This $998.9 million total represents the largest single-day inflow for these funds so far in 2026.

The previous high for the year was $844 million, set on January 14. This surge also marks the most significant daily investment into these funds since October 6, 2025, when they attracted more than $1.2 billion.

Key highlights from the surge

  • Daily net inflows reached $998.9 million on Monday.
  • Bitcoin's price briefly crossed the $87,200 mark during the same period.
  • Spot Ether ETFs also hit a 2026 record with approximately $270 million in daily inflows.
  • Despite Monday’s gains, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen about $464 million in total net outflows throughout 2026.

Performance of individual investment funds

Data from SoSoValue and Farside Investors shows that BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led the group with $381 million in new investments. The ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) followed with $289 million, and Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) saw roughly $239 million.

Other crypto-related ETFs showed varying results. While Ether ETFs reached a new high for the year, spot XRP ETFs reported no net flows on Monday. Cumulative net inflows for XRP ETFs remain at about $1.71 billion.

Bitcoin price movement and market signals

Bitcoin was trading at $85,430 at the time of publication, a 4.7% increase over the last 24 hours. The asset has risen 12.3% over the past month and briefly touched a peak of $87,200 on Monday.

Julio Moreno, an analyst at CryptoQuant, stated that Bitcoin moved above its 365-day moving average on Monday. He described this as a final signal needed to confirm the start of a new bull market, which is a period characterized by rising prices and optimistic investor sentiment.

Confirmed market data

Market reports confirm that Monday was the strongest day for Bitcoin ETF inflows in 2026. While specific funds like IBIT, ARKB, and FBTC saw significant gains, the broader 2026 trend for Bitcoin ETFs remains slightly negative, with total outflows still outweighing inflows for the year by $464 million.
