Text Diff Checker
Paste two versions of a text (code, config, essays, anything), hit Compare, and get a color-coded side-by-side diff with exact additions and deletions. The diff engine runs on the server, so even large documents are compared with a robust longest-common-subsequence algorithm.

How to Use This Tool
Paste your Original and Modified text into the two editors, then click Compare. The result shows a side-by-side diff: removed lines are highlighted in red on the left, added lines in green on the right, and unchanged lines stay as context.
1. Enter the two versions
Paste or type the original text on the left and the modified text on the right. You can click Sample to load a ready-made example pair, Swap to flip the two sides, or Clear to start over. Each editor also has a Paste button that reads your clipboard.
2. Compare
Click Compare. The tool sends both texts to the diff engine and renders the result in a read-only diff view. The summary bar shows how many lines were added (+) and removed (−).
3. Read the result
Use the summary bar for quick counts, then scroll the diff view to inspect each changed region. If the texts are identical, the tool says so.
Limits
Each side accepts up to 200,000 characters, and the combined line count is capped at 1,500 lines to keep comparisons fast.
