Bitcoin ETFs Record $2.4 Billion Inflows in Strongest Week Since October 2025

Record weekly inflows for Bitcoin funds

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded their largest weekly inflows of the year. These funds, which track the price of Bitcoin without requiring investors to hold the asset directly, drew in $2.39 billion over the week. This total included an addition of $134.5 million on Friday alone.

The data marks the strongest performance since the week ending October 10, 2025. At that time, net inflows reached $2.71 billion. The recent figures also exceeded the highest inflow total seen in 2026 prior to this week, which was $1.92 billion in August.

Year-to-date recovery and market context

Following these gains, the funds' net position for the year turned positive. Year-to-date flows rose to approximately $926 million by Friday. This represents a significant shift from early July, when the year-to-date deficit had reached roughly $5.55 billion.

Daily inflow momentum slowed toward the end of the week as Bitcoin's price dipped. Daily net inflows had peaked near $1 billion on Monday but decreased as Bitcoin retreated from above $87,100. At the time of publication, Bitcoin traded around $83,116, down 1.6% over the previous 24 hours but up 1.7% over the last seven days.

Other major crypto ETFs see gains

  • US spot Ether ETFs attracted about $690 million in net inflows last week. This reversed roughly $140 million in outflows from the previous week.
  • Spot XRP ETFs added approximately $76 million during the same period.
  • The Crypto Fear & Greed Index, a measure of market sentiment, stood at 74, indicating "Greed." This was up from 70 the week before.
