US spot Bitcoin ETFs draw $191M as six-day inflow streak tops $2.8B

US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $191 million on Thursday

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) — funds that trade on stock exchanges and hold bitcoin — drew about $191 million in net inflows on Thursday, according to SoSoValue data cited by Cointelegraph. The day extended a six-session run of inflows past $2.8 billion.

It was the third session in a row in which daily inflows slowed, after a 2026 high of $999 million on Monday. Bitcoin also pulled back from above $87,000 during that stretch.

Key numbers behind the six-day run

  • Thursday's inflow was about 81% lower than Monday's.
  • September has brought in $2.56 billion so far, after $3.52 billion in August.
  • Monday's $999 million was the largest daily inflow of 2026.

BlackRock's IBIT supplied most of the money

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the largest US spot Bitcoin ETF by assets, accounted for about $163 million of Thursday's inflows, according to Farside Investors data cited by Cointelegraph.

Over the six sessions, IBIT attracted roughly $1.35 billion, close to half of the combined inflows across the funds.

Bitcoin traded at $83,807 as inflows cooled

At the time the article was published, bitcoin traded at $83,807, down 0.3% over the past 24 hours but up about 8% over the past seven days, according to CoinGecko data.

The streak has turned 2026 flows positive

The latest run lifted the funds' year-to-date net total to roughly $787 million. That reverses a 2026 deficit of about $5.5 billion at the end of June.

Where the figures come from

The flow and price figures in this article come from data trackers cited by Cointelegraph: SoSoValue for total US spot Bitcoin ETF flows, Farside Investors for IBIT flows, and CoinGecko for the bitcoin price. No official or regulatory source was cited for the flow numbers.
