What SBI PO recruitment involves
Probationary Officer is the State Bank of India's main officer entry. The process runs through a preliminary test, a main examination, a psychometric test, a group exercise and an interview. The photograph and signature you upload at application are reused on the call letter, the attendance sheet and the interview file, so they follow you through every stage.
That is why the upload box is strict. A photograph that passes a casual look but fails the portal's pixel or KB check can stall an application before the first test.
What the converter does

Step by step
- Pick the document type in the dropdown. The exam is already set to SBI.
- Upload a recent colour photograph with a plain light background, or a signature scan in dark ink on white paper.
- Adjust the crop so the face fills the frame without touching the edges.
- Check the preview and the estimated file weight.
- Download the JPEG and upload it to the SBI application form.
PO-specific pitfalls
- Photo age. A photograph that no longer matches you at the interview creates an identity question. Use a recent one.
- Signature drift. The signature on the attendance sheet and documents should match the uploaded image; practise the same form.
- Glasses and filters. Reflections and heavy beauty filters are common rejection reasons across bank applications.
- Thumb and declaration. These are usually needed at document verification, not at the first application step. Prepare clean scans early.
- File weight. A 200 × 230 image can still exceed 50 KB if it is noisy; the quality step is what brings it down.
Limits
One file at a time, JPEG output only, no background removal or signature cleanup. The page cannot tell whether SBI has changed a limit for the current cycle, and it does not submit anything to the bank.
